Time to say goodbye to candles. Israeli start-up Moodo has followed last year’s successful Indiegogo campaign with its new Moodo smart home fragrance machine, which allows you to mix unique scents via a smartphone app or the Amazon Alexa intelligent personal assistant.

The product gets its inspiration from the concept of coffee capsules. Moodo arrives with a core choice of 20 fragrance capsules created by leading perfumers. You can either pair your unique combinations, or use the scent families matched by the company, such as Orange Sunrise, Precious Spices, Grandma Vanilla and Midnight Thrill. You can create your unique scent by adjusting the intensity of any capsule using the app’s fragrance dials, or ask Alexa to modify them for you, and save them as presets to share with your friends!
