Since Formula 1’s inception in 1950, Japan has produced roughly 20 F1 race drivers, elevating the current RB team F1 driver Yuki Tsunoda to heroic status in his home country. Following his debut on the F1 grid in the 2021 season, Tsunoda’s popularity has continued to soar. Recently, news surfaced about a special race event titled “Yuki Tsunoda Presents Kart Warriors,” scheduled to take place in Japan next month.

Tsunoda, the event’s main attraction, will gather Japanese Super Formula and Super GT drivers from various teams to compete in karting. Expected competitors include Kazuto Kotaka, Toshiki Oyu, Sena Sakaguchi, Kenta Yamashita, Nirei Fukuzumi, Kakunoshin Ohta, and Tadasuke Makino, promising an exhilarating showdown. The manga-style promotional poster adds an extra layer of intrigue to the event, captivating fans across the nation and beyond.

While details about the event are limited, we know it will be held at City Circuit Tokyo Bay on Tuesday, April 9th, starting at 6 pm local time. The race’s qualifying session will be exclusively broadcast live on J Sports on demand, with the main event set for 7 pm local time, available for viewing on JSports 2 and J Sports on demand.
