When Functionality Meets Luxury
Mercedes-Benz Unveils 2019 New G-Class

Mercedes-Benz unveiled its all-new G-Class ahead of the Detroit Auto Show. Its latest 500 model features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine delivering 416 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. While many of the G-Class’ heritage features have remained unchanged, such as the signature door handles, external door hinges and the spare wheel mounted on the rear door, the new 500 is longer and wider than the previous G-Class model. This seemingly modest increase of 53mm and 121mm respectively makes the restyled cabin a remarkably more luxurious space, as well as adding 6 inches more legroom for rear passengers than in the current model.

Scheduled for arrival in Germany this coming June, the new G-Class will be priced starting at €107,040.50.
