A former Team Cunningham 1959 Lister-Jaguar Sports Racer is going to become the highlight lot in Bonhams Scottsdale auction, held during the Arizona Car Week next January.

Lister is recently back in business with its “knobbly” roadsters and Jaguar F-Pace tuned cars. In about 60 years ago the two automakers had jointed to develop this victorious car, designed by Frank Costin during the heydays of post-war racing. The racer was driven by motorsport legend Stirling Moss and his American teammate Walt Hansgen and was the winning car of the SCCA C-Modified National Championship.

Bonhams claims this particular example is one of the most original in existence, and only nine examples were produced. This beautiful and rare race car will be under the hammer on 17 January 2019.
