In 2020, Cyan Racing, renowned for its championship-winning touring car team, expanded its repertoire to include restomods. The Volvo P1800 Cyan, crafted as a homage to the iconic Volvo sports car of the 1960s, now introduces a new GT version into its lineup.

This edition is tailored as a grand tourer that boasts Cyan-designed adjustable suspension for comfortable long-distance drives on winding roads. Under the hood, Cyan has fine-tuned the two-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine to offer varying power outputs between 350 hp and 420 hp, with precise power transmission achieved through the bespoke Holinger five-speed gearbox. Coupled with the lightweight steel and carbon fibre body, the GT version delivers remarkable performance and agility.

Presented here is one of the first completed examples in a striking metallic green hue with sand leather and fabric interior, featuring enhanced sound insulation and touring-oriented seating. Like the inaugural Volvo P1800 Cyan restomod, the GT version offers extensive customization options. Noteworthy upgrades include a revised titanium roll cage for enhanced comfort and safety without compromising chassis rigidity.

Each Volvo P1800 Cyan undergoes meticulous restoration and modification by Cyan’s team in Gothenburg, Sweden, taking approximately 12-15 months per car, with the GT version only offered in limited quantity.
