Founded by designer Daiki Suzuki, the Americana-inspired menswear label Engineered Garments has joined forces with Timberland for the first time with a collaborative collection for Fall 2017.
The collection sees the iconic Classic Lug men’s boot with a reimagined classic silhouette while upgraded with a streamlined workwear aesthetic. Originally from New England, the right and left feet are asymmetrical due to mixed-material combinations of suede and nubuck leathers, while hex eyelets and premium rubber outsoles honour each brand’s DNA.
This season also sees the release of the Ultimate Winter Jacket and the Ultimate Winter Boot. The former article features heat-sealed baffle construction that maximises heat retention, as well as a premium water-resistant 2-layer fabric to help you stay dry in the winter months. The latter product is a modification of the classic 10061 boot.
Featuring a Gripstick Rubber outsole along with signature Sensorfle technology, the 10061 boot is now constructed with waterproof waterbuck leather that’s ready to tackle inclement weather, while also fulfilling the demands of both the city and life on the Modern Trail.
