There’s No Sales Space Like Home
A Look Inside Volkswagen's Home in Poland

In this ever-changing digital world, where new retailers are progressively launching their businesses on the internet, and even car manufacturers now sell cars online, the importance of having car showrooms seem to be gradually decreasing. Nevertheless, car makers are still working hard to enhance the face-to-face retail experience for clients by creating one-of-a-kind retail spaces to attract potential customers while also increasing their engagement.

After Volkswagen observed how new technologies rapidly transform both customer lifestyle and expectations, the German carmaker teamed up with Poznan design studio mode:lina™ to create a unique Warsaw retail space called “Volkswagen Home”. The newly-opened showroom, situated within a modest 200 square meters, offers an intimate space that combines a homey atmosphere with solutions inspired by Volkswagen’s design language.

For instance, the mode:lina™ team employs familiar style motifs such as horizontal wood panels resembling the grill of the Volkswagen Arteon while utilising linear lighting that references both the Arteon as well as the new T-Roc. The result infuses the energy of Warsaw with the design of Volkswagen latest cars, supplying the entire sales experience with energy and vibrancy, ideally in line with the city and its vibe.
