Colours from the 80s
Timeberland Spring/Summer 2020

People always said the 80s to 90s was such a booming and prosperous era that there are numerous great things to commemorate, including the fashion elements from that period.  And this become one of the design inspirations for the second wave of Timberland’s Spring/Summer 2020.  Of course, the use of the ReBOTL™ fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles, continuous in this collection for adhering to its own Nature Needs Heroes campaign.

Loud colours were one of the key fashion elements in the 80s and 90s, and this can be found from the Mount Hight WG Overhead Jacket in the S/S 2020 collection.  Taking a sharp and vivid peacock green as the colour for the main body, with distinctive ocean blue accent on the hood and should area, sleeve edge plus apricot-orange applied to the logo on front and zipper pull tab, the bold and contrasting colour combination hints about the flourishing old days.  This pullover anorak features super lightweight ReBOTL™ material and NeoVent-S technology for unmatched breathability, so great comfortability on top of the chic style is guaranteed.  The Urban Camo AOP Windbreaker, on the other hand, takes a subtle approach with the all-time-favourite camouflage print yet matching with a big brand name and logo on the sleeve and at the back in striking yellow colour.  Both items are made with 40% recycled polyester.

The use of ReBOTL™ fabric can be found from all of the three footwear of this collection.  For daily wearing the Brooklyn Leather & Fabric Super Oxford featuring leather and mesh fabric on the upper is suitable.  The EVA midsole with AeroCore™ energy system ensures all-day comfort.  While the Garrison Trail Waterproof Mid Hiker is a more functional option for outdoor activity.
