Dutch submersible manufacturer U-Boat Worx has introduced its latest creation, the C-Researcher 3. Designed for private use as well as science and exploration, the C-Researcher 3 is capable of diving anywhere in the world to 1,100 metres. You can equip the submarine with options such as manipulator arms or underwater cameras for research, or documenting the underwater world.

Specs-wise, the C-Researcher 3 has a compact Pressure-Tolerant Battery System, which provides more than twice the capacity compared with other private submarines. It helps the submarine to take less time to descend and ascend from a depth of 1,100 metres. The four vectored horizontal thrusters also help to generate lateral thrust, making it possible to move efficiently sideways. This freedom in manoeuvrability makes the C-Researcher 3 highly effective for precision-work that demands great accuracy in positioning the submarine in its 3D environment.

Furthermore, it utilizes U-Boat Worx’s own automatic trim weight system, which maintains a fully horizontal trim of the submersible even when carrying varying equipment configurations or manipulating objects on the seafloor.
