The unmistakable grooved aluminium exterior of RIMOWA luggage needs no introduction. This renowned German luxury brand has partnered with La Marzocco, the Italian artisanal leader in espresso machinery, to unveil the RIMOWA x La Marzocco Linea Mini espresso machine. It’s a harmonious fusion of German precision and Italian flair, celebrating the shared commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail that define both brands.

At the heart of this collaboration lies the Linea Mini, a professional-grade espresso machine reimagined with RIMOWA’s iconic grooved aluminium and a selection of bespoke components meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. Each collaborative espresso machine is created through a labour-intensive process, requiring 40 hours of dedicated craftsmanship. The grooved aluminium panels are expertly manufactured at RIMOWA’s facility in Cologne, then meticulously assembled and installed by hand at La Marzocco’s customization workshop, Officine Fratelli Bambi, in Florence.

This commitment to craftsmanship extends to every detail, from the frame to the base, which are adorned with both brands’ logos to commemorate the collaboration. The design also features custom-made hot water taps and knobs crafted from aluminium, proudly displaying the iconic monograms of La Marzocco and RIMOWA. Even the portafilter and feet are reimagined in anodized aluminium to maintain the cohesiveness of the machine.

This distinctive creation is currently showcased at Milan Design Week, with limited quantities available for bespoke orders through direct contact with La Marzocco.
