Snoopy On A Mission
Swatch X Omega MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonphase

When Omega X Swatch launched their Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection two years ago, watch collectors went wild over the collaboration. After offering a series of limited-edition MoonSwatch models, there’s finally a new addition to this collection, and it’s a non-limited one featuring a beloved character familiar to all of us – Snoopy.

Before you question why the Peanuts character was chosen, it’s worth noting that Snoopy has been NASA’s mascot since the 1960s, with the Silver Snoopy Award being a prestigious prize honouring individuals and organisations for outstanding achievements related to human flight safety or mission success. Omega received the award back in 1970 for its involvement in space exploration, including the Apollo missions. Additionally, Snoopy has been featured in three previous Omega Speedmaster references, establishing a strong connection between the character and the brand.

Turning back to the upcoming MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonphase, the all-white watch features a moon phase disc with Snoopy and Woodstock lying on the moon, located in the subdial at 2 o’clock. Not only that, a hidden quote from Snoopy’s comic strip, “I can’t sleep without a night light!” amidst crescent moons and stars, is visible under UV light. Another Snoopy-inspired detail can be found on the battery cover at the back of the watch.

Elsewhere, the Mission to the Moonphase shares similarities with other editions of MoonSwatch, featuring a tachymeter-scaled bezel, subdials, and co-brand logos housed inside the 42 mm diameter Bioceramic case, completed with a white Velcro strap.

Priced at HK$ 2,400, the MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonphase will be available for purchase starting from March 26th, exclusively at select Swatch stores.
