Wrapping For A Good Cause
Designer wrapping paper for charity

Christmas has always been a season of giving. While we are preparing presents for our loved ones, it is also a good opportunity to help those in need.

Ask Us For Ideas, a team that connect brands with suitable agencies, invited 12 creative studios from London to each design a unique wrapping paper for Christmas. Proceeds from the project will go to Wrap Up London, a charity that keeps vulnerable people in the city clothed and warm during winter.

The designs of the wrapping papers ranging from hip-hop icons, abstract patterns, typography to stripes of bacon. Personal favourites include Lowrie’s design with hip-hop icons such as The Notorious B.I.G, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and many more; and WGI’s sarcastic but probably also realistic descriptions of “another” Christmas gifts.

Only 200 sets of 12 different wrapping papers will be screen-printed by hand using GF Smith’s Colorplan paper, which is full recyclable and biodegradable. Available on wrappingup.co.uk and shipped to worldwide, these prints will look good framed at home too.
