“Dakar 18” trailer

The cross-country Dakar Rally is seen as one of the most demanding events in motorsports. The first event was held in 1978, racing from Paris to Dakar, Senegal, butsince 2009 the races have been held in South America. Bigmoon Entertainment is working on the racing simulation game Dakar 18 and what we’ve seen so far is stunning.

The developer promises to bring a faithful experience to gamers. Expect driving true off-road vehicles including motorbikes, cars, trucks, quads and UTVs on dunes, mud, water and other extreme conditions that you would see in the actual Dakar Rally. Official vehicles from KTM, Honda, Yamaha, Husqvarna, Peugeot, Mini, Toyota, Renault, Mitsubishi and more will be available in the open-environment game world of over 15,000 km² with a realistic navigation system. Gamers can also rescue and repair their vehicles in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The release date for Dakar 18 has not been announced yet but it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC within the year.
