The BMW Motorrad Concept Link reveals a future motorbike that offers more than merely taking you from location A to B. Its chic appearance is a blend of futuristic elements that make urban life more effortless. At the heart of the motorbike is a zero emission rear wheel electric drive and a low-slung energy storage device in the underbody that enables the clean and dynamic silhouette.

Concept Link is also about the synergy of connectivity. A touch screen panel with customisable short keys displays the infotainment, while speed, navigation and battery life appear on the windscreen. The rider’s calendar syncs to the motorcycle to suggest the quickest route to the next destination. Alternatively, the Link can offer the most scenic route or even provide matching music to prepare you for your next appointment if time is not an issue. Even the rider’s jacket is intelligently connected; just stroke over the jacket’s sleeve to open the luggage compartment. While Concept Link is still a prototype, it’s not difficult to see some of the elements being rolled into production not far from now.
