French artist Benedetto Bufalino has created a series of visionary artworks that go far beyond one’s imagination. During the Sélest’Art 2017 in the northeast of France, the artist displayed some of his unique pieces built upon the same medium – cars – that manipulate the way people interact with existing urban spaces. For instance, the artist inverted an old AUDI atop a lamp post located in a public park. At night, the light brightens up the interior of the car, creating an exciting design motif for the park.

For another installation, Bufalino created a stretched limo, but only leaving the front and the back, with the sides just high enough for people to climb over into the body or sit and chat with friends. These examples show Bufalino’s unique sense of humour by revealing the unknown potential of everyday objects.
