Reviving A Racing Legend
Rezvani Retro RR1

Rezvani Motors, known for its daring Beast and Tank models, has broadened its scope by introducing a new sub-brand: Rezvani Retro. The California-based specialist automaker’s debut offering, the Rezvani Retro RR1, pays homage to the iconic Porsche 935 race car from the 1970s.

Derived from the current 992-generation Porsche 911, the RR1 stands as a striking tribute to its racing ancestor. Depending on the specific 992 model serving as the donor car, the RR1 presents three engine options. The RR1 550, fashioned from the Carrera, uses a 3.0-litre flat 6 turbo engine, delivers an impressive 550 hp. Opt for the GT3 or GT3 RS, and you’ll receive the RR1 565, propelled by a 4.0L flat 6 naturally aspirated engine producing 565 hp. For peak performance, select the Turbo S donor car, and Rezvani will transform it into the RR1 750, featuring a 3.8L Flat 6 turbo engine generating a staggering 750 hp. Although primarily tailored for track use, the RR1 can also be adapted for street legality, albeit with a slightly reduced output of 30 to 35 hp. The model is available with either a 6 or 7-speed manual transmission or the PDK system.

Staying true to the essence of the iconic Porsche 935, the RR1 showcases exquisite carbon fibre bodywork, complemented by retro turbo fan-style wheels. A variety of optional features are offered, including a roll cage, racing harness, enhanced Brembo brakes, lightweight polycarbonate windows, and, naturally, customizable livery graphics akin to those depicted in the images.

Restricted to just 50 units worldwide, the Rezvani Retro RR1 is presently available for order, starting at US$ 149,000, excluding the donor car.
