Fields Auto Works Scioto Coupe

Fields Auto Works is a small automotive company founded in 2017 that specialises in creating bespoke, high-performance cars for discerning enthusiasts. Based in Columbus, Ohio, founder Rob Fields works with a team who have solid experience in building Can-Am and Indycar-winning race cars. Their second and latest creation is the Scioto Coupe, a bespoke hand-built sports car that can be ordered now for 2024 delivery.

The elongated, aerodynamic design of the Scioto Coupe is reminiscent of 1960s Le Mans prototypes. Built on a semi-monocoque modular chassis with an integrated roll cage, Fields Auto Works has opted for double A-arm pull-rod suspension for this stunning machine, while the space frame construction is paired with a fibreglass body with gullwing doors, resulting in a curb weight of just 1,900 lbs. As for the interior, composite sports seats are fitted with six-point harnesses, and amenities including an adjustable steering column and pedal set, six-inch motorsport driver display, and integrated fire suppression system prove that the Scioto Coupe is ready to race.

The mid-rear two-seater has been designed around a V8 powertrain pushing 505 hp and 639 Nm through a six-speed manual or sequential transaxle gearbox, but the exact powerplant has been left up to the discretion of the buyer, which will hopefully result in some wild builds hitting the pavement next year.
