Classic woodie wagons are not something that we come across daily, and this original Ford Super Deluxe V8 Marmon-Herrington Wagon is an exceptionally rare conversion to four-wheel drive.

An example from the last year of the all wood body, this particular Ford has been restored to its original specs based on the woodsman-friendly Marmon-Herrington all-wheel-drive conversion. It features a 239 CI 59A-B flathead V-8 engine and 4-speed Borg Warner manual transmission. The maple frame with mahogany body and door panels are the essence of this example. The metal dash is now finished in factory correct maple grain paint, while complementing shades of brown adorn the interior. The 15-inch black steel wheels with chrome caps are paired with brand new vintage style 7.00-15LT Super Traxion off-road tyres. Approximately 500 miles have been added since the restoration, and this odd beauty will be available in auction during the Monterey Car Week.
