F.P.Journe Vagabondage III

As an independent watchmaker and an outsider from the multi-national groups, F.P. Journe doesn’t care about what is trending in the market and only focuses on creating exquisite high-end timepieces.

F.P. Journe’s new Vagabondage III is the third and last edition of their Vagabondage series. As in the past, the new watch is available in two material options, platinum and 18K red gold and limited to 69 and 68 examples respectively. In 2004, Francois-Paul Journe developed a distinctive watch design to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the auction house Antiquorum. The watch was produced and sold exclusively at a charity auction in Geneva for the benefit of ICM, a research institute for brain and spinal cord diseases. The design featured the now famous flat Tortue case and a dial without a signature logo. That piece served as the origin the Vagabondage series design.

Just as the Vagabondage I and II, there is no F.B. Journe logo on the face of the Vagabondage III. A single window at 10 o’clock and another pair at 6 o’clock digitally display the hours and seconds respectively. The central white hand indicates the minutes, while the blue steel hand at 1 o’clock shows the power reserve. Owners of the Vagabondage I and II will receive priority in acquiring the Vagabondage III with the same series number. Less than 140 collectors in the world will have the privilege of completing their Vagabondage trilogy.
