Just One More Brick
LEGO Taj Mahal

The 5,922-piece Taj Mahal set (#10189) was the biggest official LEGO set for quite a few years. The nearly 6,000-piece set was launched in 2008, but has been discontinued for years and now is difficult to get hold of.

To meet the huge demand, LEGO has just released a new version of Taj Mahal set (#10256) under the Creator Expert series. The new and old versions are very similar, with the width of the finished product staying at 51 cm while the new version is 2 cm taller at 43 cm. The new set is divided into seven modular sections, instead of three like in the past, for easier transportation. Interestingly, the new set consists of 5,923 pieces, meaning it as one more piece than the old original. What kind of brick will that extra piece be?

The new Taj Mahal set will be available at LEGO Certified Stores in Hong Kong in early December.
