Getting Ready
Lamborghini’s track-only V12 hypercar

Following the sneak peek of the upcoming hypercar of Lamborghini back in October last year, there are some more official updates finally.  Though the car will only make its world premiere after three quarters, Lamborghini has recently carried out the first engine fire up of this track-only V12 hypercar in the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory.

Not much information has been released yet – the complete details of this hypercar still remain mysterious; at least, it’s confirmed that the car possesses a 6.5-litre V12 naturally aspirated engine, which will produce 830hp.  This extremely fierce limited edition model is a new development by the Centro Stile department of Squadra Corse.  This track-only model carries a number of particularities that make it different from the regular road car range: like the large rear wing, which silhouette was first released in last quarter; the airscoop on the roof and a racing hood with dual air intakes.  The front frame is made with aluminum, and the monocoque is built with carbon fibre, ensuring a light-weight yet strong body for the highest level of safety, while an innovative self-locking type differential allows better driveability on the circuit in high speed.
