The upcoming exhibition “Hey! Play!” at the Chicago Design Museum gathers a wide variety of games from the past to present, revisiting the history of game design, their social impact and changes brought, all from a future cultural perspective. Of course, the most attractive thing at the exhibition is that every piece is playable! Visitors can discover and play many types of game design staged in many unexpected ways. This retrospective encourages visitors to imagine the future of game design, even beyond Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), by way of the new experiences they encounter.
