Honda caught a lot of attention with its CB4 ‘Interceptor’ concept at the recent EICMA show in Milan. The concept was developed by its Italian design studio and based on the 2015 CB4 concept, with evocative an ‘sport endurance’ tone added to essentially create a futuristic cafe racer. It seems that the concept is also based on the CB1000R as “1000R” is written on the patterned taillight.

Inside the front LED light there is a fan that makes use of the bike’s kinetic energy for powering the information touchscreen. The touchscreen is not a separated feature but integrated inside the surface of the tank, supported with a GPS navigation system and full mobile connectivity. The rider can also make emergency calls via the touchscreen if caught in a situation. Other components found on the inline four-powered concept include black Öhlins inverted forks, Brembo callipers and Pirelli track tyres.
