To celebrate its partnership with tennis Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka as a brand ambassador, Nissan is releasing a special edition of its GT-R. Based on the existing GT-R Premium edition, the Naomi Osaka special edition features LED high-mount stop lights on its dry carbon rear spoiler, along with a gold model plate in the engine bay.

While there are no mechanical upgrades, the special edition comes with the choice of three colour options – Midnight Opal, Brilliant White Pearl and Meteor Flake Black Pearl. For the cabin, Osaka has helped with the colour palettes in order to match the three colour schemes – ivory, red and tan – which can be paired with any of the exterior body shades. To maintain the special nature of this commemorative model, the Naomi Osaka edition is limited strictly to 50 examples and will only be sold in Japan starting from 20 December.
