Israeli startup Eviation just unveiled their concept aircraft “Alice” at the 52nd International Paris Air Show. Powered by an eco-friendly Li-Ion – 980 kWh battery, the sleek all-electric airplane has a range of up to 600 miles on a single charge. Alice can carry up to nine passengers and two crew members, at a maximum speed of 270 knots, making it an ideal air-taxi.

Thanks to its all-composite construction, the plane is 300 times more energy efficient than other planes of the same size. It employs a distributed propulsion system using one main pusher propeller at the tail and two pusher propellers at the wingtips, for reduced drag and added redundancy.

Eviation is aiming to put “Alice” into production as soon as next year.
