Dual Function SxS
Mandrill M-Two SxS

Mandrill Automotive was only founded in 2021, but the team behind the German company has been working in the e-drive and hybrid markets since 2009. Mandrill aims to develop electric vehicles in the SxS and UTV categories, combining extreme off-road capability, lower environmental impact, and driving enjoyment to create the ultimate off road recreational machine. Up until recently, Mandrill could only show off a prototype version of their first M-One model, which has been on tour around Germany for public appearances and test drives for the last year, but now, details of the production model M-Two SxS have finally been revealed.

The sporty SxS is powered by dual motors that deliver a total of 150 kW and 620 Nm, enabling it to reach 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 135 km/h. The 43kWh battery offers a range of up to 300 km, and a fast charge to 80 per cent can be done in just 30 minutes. The M-Two will be 100 per cent street legal — at least under Europe regulations — and the team also plans to get it FIA-approved.

Mandrill says that the M-Two can also be used for industrial purposes thanks to its large multifunctional loading area. Two options will be available for the vehicle: a two or four seater for power sports and a two seater with a flatbed for commercial use. There’s even a waterproof storage space with a 400-litre capacity, and the components are IP67/IP69 waterproof certified. With a maximum payload of 700 kg and a towing capacity of 1,200 kg, this is no toy, but a seriously useful — and very quick — off-road machine.
