Homage To Classic Racing Icons
Totem GTAmodificata

Italian coachbuilder Totem Automobili showcased the rebirth of a racing era at the 2024 Geneva International Motor Show with the premiere of the Totem GTAmodificata. This masterpiece pays homage to the golden racing era and is crafted in a unique, race-ready formula, with only five examples being built.

At the heart of this limited production lies the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, an all-time classic revered as one of the most victorious race cars ever constructed. The Totem GTAmodificata features a specially built carbon fibre monocoque, merging the donor car’s chassis parts with CNC aluminium front and rear chassis components.

The fully exposed carbon fibre body is adorned in a bespoke “metallic carbon” finish, while the custom-painted front bumper with six headlights pays direct homage to the iconic 1970s Giulia. Even the wheels incorporate a fully exposed carbon barrel and a unique concave forged aluminium disc for exceptional style.

Compared with its predecessor, the Totem GT super, the new restomod is 200 kg lighter, 200mm wider, but boasts an additional 200 hp from its engine. Underneath its striking exterior lies a powerful 2.8-litre twin-turbo V6 manufactured by Italtecnica Engineering, now tuned to output 810 hp to the rear wheels through a new 6-speed sequential transmission. Totem quotes a maximum speed of over 300 km/h and an impressive 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.6 seconds.

The racing minimalism theme continues inside with more exposed carbon fibre, luxurious Italian leathers, and Alcantara fabrics, creating an ambiance designed to maximize focus on the purest racing driving experience.
