The Mercedes-AMG GT series will soon welcome a new car to its family. The new model was spotted testing in camouflage several times in recent months, and now the automaker has confirmed roll out the most powerful Black Series two-door GT coupe within 2020.

Michael Knöller, AMG’s global head of product management and sales, has told Road & Track at the L.A. Auto Show that the AMG GT Black Series would be a “more extroverted” version of the current model which “underlines the history and performance of the GT two-door” and arrives next year. No figures have been revealed yet but we can expect upgrades on powertrain, chassis and aerodynamics. Knöller also mentioned a new GT Four-Door with plug-in hybrid V8 drivetrain would be on its way next year.
