There are plenty of so-called “high x low” fashion crossovers in recent months, but the upcoming Prada and Adidas collaboration is something we look forward to. The first release of this partnership – Prada for Adidas Limited Edition – includes a new rendition of the iconic Superstar sneaker and a brand new sports bag. Every piece in the collection is made in Italy by Prada with it’s over 100 years’ expertise in luxury leather good craftsmanship, with the shoe and the bag both offered in classic optic white adorned with black detailing.
The Prada Superstar for Adidas follows the same timeless and simple style we are familiar with, now made of Prada’s Spazzolato Rois full-grain leather for the upper and paired with the signature Adidas Originals rubber shell toe and herringbone-pattern rubber cup sole. The triple-stripe and the Trefoil logo are still here alongside the Prada logotype. The Prada Bowling bag for Adidas is a tribute to the Prada Bowling bag and the Adidas gym bag. The new silhouette is crafted in City Sport calf leather, with sport nylon strap and Prada and Adidas Originals logos featured on the front.
Prada for Adidas Limited Edition is limited to 700 sets and each piece will be numbered with a unique serial. The duo will definitely be sold out as soon as it hits Adidas and Prada websites and selected Prada stores worldwide on 4 December.
