Build Your Own Motorcycle
LEGO Technic Yamaha MT-10 SP

Since the late seventies, LEGO has been bringing us countless realistic automobile projects aimed at older fans under the LEGO Technic line. The latest Technic vehicle from the Denmark brick maker pays tribute to the Yamaha MT-10 SP — the most potent Yamaha motorcycle in the ‘hyper naked’, Maximum Torque category.

The 1,478-piece building set measures 44 cm long, 15 cm wide, and 25 cm high and stays true to the proportions of the real-life version. Some authentic details include the four-cylinder engine and the three-speed transmission in LEGO Technic style. The front and rear suspension is completely functional with moving parts, and the steering is controlled via inputs to the handlebar, while the gearbox elements include a shift drum, shift fork, gear shift ring, and ratchet drum.

The completed motorcycle can be displayed simply on its side stand, while there is also a proper, Yamaha-branded display stand that better showcases the faithfully-recreated machine. LEGO has also incorporated an augmented reality feature for this set through its AR app, where the builder can see the motorcycle come to life.

The LEGO Technic Yamaha MT-10 SP will be available starting from 1 August.
