Fans of the Bentley Continental GT Supersports have been waiting for the return of this legendary beast since the 2013 model year. Arriving in time for a final swansong of the current second-generation Continental GT, Bentley has packed “this most extreme Bentley ever” with a re-energised 6-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine. Delivering 700 horsepower and 1,017 Nm of torque, it catapults the world’s most powerful luxury four-seat car from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 336 km/h.
The dazzling Continental GT Supersports is set off by a sculpted body kit, which includes a carbon-fibre front splitter and rear diffuser along with side sill extensions. A plethora of gloss black vents and grilles on the hood and fenders keep temperatures under control while high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes, an optional rear spoiler and 21-inch forged alloy wheels keep it all stuck to the tarmac. The interior’s suede and carbon-fibre trim are enhanced with diamond-quilted patterns on the seats and door side panels.
The Continental GT Supersports will cost you £212,500 for the coupe and £233,800 for the convertible. Both versions will go on sale in Spring 2017.
