What’s Plan B?
Nikola One design updated

We first covered the Nikola One last year, but after a recent change of plans the company has decided to use hydrogen power instead of natural gas as a range extender. As a semi truck with sleeper cab, the interior design is a key factor too, and Nikola just released a few work-in-progress rendering images.

At the front, the dashboard looks simple, sporting a large touchscreen display in the middle and a smaller display behind the steering wheel. The sleeping quarters look pleasant with a slight futuristic feel, featuring double bunks with full size beds, ample storage, a TV screen and a tablet that control most functions such as lighting and air conditioning. Inside the cabin there is also a dining table, fridge and surround-sound audio system.

The company plans to begin road testing the Nikola One next year.
