‘Michael 50’ exhibition at Ferrari Museum

Legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher turns 50 on 3 January 2019, and Ferrari is set to celebrate his birthday with a special exhibition titled ‘Michael 50’ at Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

Although absent from the public eye since his skiing accident five years ago, Schumacher is still in the hearts of motorsport fans and a significant inspiration to many. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion drove for Scuderia Ferrari from 1996 to 2006, winning five consecutive drivers’ titles from 2000-2004, plus contributed to the six constructors’ titles during his time with the team.

Held in association with the Keep Fighting Foundation established by the Schumacher family, the exhibition is intended both as a celebration and a tribute to the most successful Prancing Horse driver ever. The exhibition rooms will be filled photos and memorabilia of all the seasons he drove for the team, as well as his contribution to the development of GT cars as a driver and later as a consultant. The exhibition will open on 3 January and run for a few months.
