Tributing Ferrari 412
Ares Design Project Pony

Ares Design has transformed one of today’s iconic models into an elegant and timeless remake referencing a retro style from the same marque. Project Pony starts from the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, a modern four-seater fitted with a 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 with an output of 690 hp. The styling of the new car has been extensively reworked with influences from the Ferrari 412 from 1980s.

The bodywork of Project Pony is handcrafted with carbon fibre for a stunning and lightweight result, recreating the Pininfarina-penned 412 with modernity. The shooting brake style of the  Ferrari GTC4Lusso is now replaced by a defined three-box design, while the side vent has been kept. The chassis is pretty much still the GTC4Lusso’s, and so is the performance it offers. Meticulous attention to every detail also applies to the interior, with handcrafted leather seats and dash complimented by hand-stitched features and highlights, and not to mention the updated connectivity.
