Tribute To The Legendary Driver
Senna Exhibition at São Paulo Metro

It’s no exaggeration to call racing driver Ayrton Senna a national hero in his home country of Brazil. While the late Formula 1 ace was tragically killed in an accident during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, his legacy certainly lives on. The São Paulo Metro is currently hosting a Senna exhibition as a tribute to the legendary driver.

Titled “Seek Your Truth”, the exhibition is located at the República station, featuring 20 photographic panels telling the life of Ayrton Senna. With photos from the personal archive of his family, special moments in his career going back to his karting days all the way through to claiming his F1 world championship titles, there’s a lot to see. Commuters will also be able to see a replica of Senna’s iconic helmet at the São Bento station.

Both the exhibition and the display of the helmet are free to visit and accessible when the São Paulo Metro is up and running, starting from 4:40am each day — though take note that they’re located past the gates, so you’ll need to be travelling on the Metro if you want to get a look. Be sure to check them out if you are planning to visit São Paulo in the coming weeks.
