Apart from work, busy city people like us also needs to make time for relaxation, and a sauna is a great option for many people. Recently, creative architecture team goCstudio has begun to raise funds on Kickstarter to support their water floating mobile sauna project. This project allows users to enjoy themselves in the sauna and sunbathe on the platform afterwards, offering an extraordinary kind of sauna experience for everybody.

The minimalist sauna room, which is seen floating on top of the Seattle lake in the image above, is the core design of this “the wa_sauna” project. The main structure of this sauna is built on a pre-assembled aluminum frame, where its platform is lined with waterproof plywoods. Its bottom compartment holds 28 containers, with each capable of storing 55-gallons of water, so that it is given with enough floating force. Above that is the plywood built sauna, though small, its function is not at all inferior.
