The Victorious Look
2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition

While we just reported yesterday that one of the original Ford GT40 prototypes is currently on sale, it turns out that the automaker is also paying tribute to the 24 Hours of Le Mans winner. Ford has announced that for the 2018 model year, they will be offering a limited edition Heritage theme honouring the GT40 Mark IV, the  1967 Le Mans champion.

The 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage edition features unique red-and-white-stripe livery with white No. 1 hood and door graphics as found on the 1967 race car driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt. Other exterior changes include the exposed carbon package, 20-inch one-piece forged aluminium wheels, red callipers and silver rearview mirror caps.

For the interior, you can find red stitching on the seats and steering wheel, red seatbelt webbing, anodised grey paddle shifters and satin dark stainless appliqués on the instrument panel, door register bezels and x-brace. Other signature touches include serialised identification plate, exposed matte carbon fibre door sills, air register pods and centre console.
