The practical AMG GT alternative
Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé

Undoubtedly, the AMG GT is the high performance flagship of the Mercedes family, but such uncompromising performance means some sacrifice of practicality; for those who desire a bit more daily usability with aggressive sports car styling, a powerful engine and four seats, the all-new Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe is a perfect choice choice.

Based on the new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe sits atop the model’s sport performance pyramid. Starting with flared wheel arches, the C63 is 64mm wider at the front and 66mm wider at the rear, for increased stability and grip. The 60mm-longer aluminium bonnet is distinguished by two distinctive “power domes”, and underscore the muscular appearance. Powered by the same engine as the AMG GT, the 4.0 V8 is equipped with dual turbochargers positioned between the “V” of the cylinder banks, blessing this new power plant with a more compact size, optimal response and low exhaust gas emissions.

It also bestows unrivalled performance; the 510hp C 63 S Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, the 476hp C 63 Coupé version will take just 4.0 seconds, making the Coupé just a fraction faster than the Saloon – thanks to the wider tyres and shorter-legged rear-axle ratios.

Along with the C63 variants, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe series also provides 3 other models; the 184hp C200, the 211hp C250 and the 245hp C300.
