The latest Bond villain supercar
Jaguar “Spectre” C-X75

Part of the appeal of every new Bond movie for me — and for many others, I’m sure — is the chance to feast my eyes on the latest and greatest in British supercars. In the past, this has included everything from the Aston Martin DB5 and Lotus Esprit, to Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, accompanied by the odd BMW or Ford. The newest installation in the secret agent franchise, Spectre, will be no exception, and one of its on-screen automotive highlights will be the Jaguar C-X75 — a concept car that is unlikely to hit showrooms, but shares much in common with the British marque’s current line-up.

Driven by David Bautista, who plays new Bond villain Hinx, the film’s eye-catching, orange C-X75 — modified with the help of Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations team in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering — will be part of a thrilling chase scene that’s sure to be one of the film’s standout moments. The unveiling of the C-X75 follows Land Rover’s own presentation of the vehicles that will be used in Spectre, which gives Bond — and automotive — fans plenty to be excited about.
