Radiohead X Millican Black Canvas roll pack

Based in the English Lake District, sustainable travel bag manufacturer Millican has a collection named Blank Canvas Project, dedicated to collaborating with people who create positive change in the world. It’s is not surprising then, that when Radiohead contacted them, looking into creating a bag to support the tour, Millican saw it as great opportunity to develop a new Black Canvas Project.

With lead singer Thom Yorke known for his passion for climate change issues, this crossover seems like a match in heaven. The limited edition 18L-capacity bag, like every other bag in the Blank Canvas Project line, is made from polyester using 40 recycled plastic bottles, making it light, tough and waterproof. Stanley Donwood, the artist who created the band’s “A Moon Shaped Pool” album cover, has also reworked the cover of the backpack. The roll top allows some flexibility in terms of shape and capacity of the backpack. It has an easy-access padded laptop sleeve hidden in the back panel as well as internal pockets and a key ring for extra security.
