Super NES Miniature
Nintendo Super NES Classic Edition

Rumours suggested that Nintendo would announce the Super NES mini system during E3. It was disappointing when this didn’t happen, but two weeks after E3 the official announcements finally came out for the U.S., Europe and Japan markets. Similar to the Famicom Mini, the Super NES Classic Edition just looks like a miniature of the original version. Nintendo has learnt from the reviews of last year’s Famicom Mini on the size of the controllers. The Super NES mini comes with two wired retro Super NES Classic Controllers of the original size for easier and more comfortable gameplay.

The U.S. and European versions will be launched on September 29, while the Japanese version will arrive slightly later on October 5. While all three versions will be pre-loaded with 21 classic games including the familiar Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Mario Kart and Contra III: The Alien Wars as well as the never-released Star Fox 2, it is worth noting that the exact game list is slightly different in different versions so make sure you check out the official page for each of them before purchasing.
