‘PAINT’ created by Japanese design studio YOY is a LED decorative light with camouflage. When you do not need additional light during the day, ‘PAINT’ appears as just a piece of white canvas, and when night approaches and you turn it on, you see irregular brush strokes glowing in the dark. Using a similar approach as their work named ‘DEPTH’ in 2016, YOY interprets light and shadow in a poetic form, creating minimal yet playful designs for various spaces. They might not be the brightest lights, but they are indeed impressive enough to be remembered.
