Visa Cash App RB has teamed up with renowned Nigerian artist and designer Slawn to create a one-off livery for its VCARB 01 Formula 1 car, debuting at this year’s British Grand Prix.

Born Olaolu Akeredolu-Ale, Slawn is known for blending his Yoruba heritage with the pulse of London’s street culture. A skater since his teens, his distinctive, graffiti-inspired style has earned him high-profile commissions — including a reimagined FA Cup trophy, the Britannia statuette for the BRIT Awards, and a bespoke Lancia Delta Integrale art car. He has also collaborated with numerous fashion labels, carving out a unique niche at the intersection of art, culture, and design.

For this F1 collaboration, Slawn brings his signature caricature-infused street aesthetic to the racetrack. The car’s white base is animated with expressive black linework, channelling the high-octane energy of race day through a raw, playful lens. The artwork extends beyond the livery, appearing on the race suits of drivers Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, as well as across the team’s kit for the weekend. Slawn also made an appearance at Silverstone on media day to leave his mark on the team’s garage in his own inimitable style.
