Visvim has long been one of our favourite Japanese fashion labels, particularly when it turns its attention to the automotive world. The annual Visvim Motors Club capsule has become one of those releases we look forward to.

Visvim Motors Club, or VMC, is a conceptual line created to capture the atmosphere, passion, and visual language of motorsport through fashion. For 2026, the collection is closely tied to Monterey Car Week, drawing on the gathering of enthusiasts, collectors, and machines that takes over California’s Monterey Peninsula each August. The theme is less about competition itself and more about the culture surrounding it, celebrating those who immerse themselves in cars simply because they love them.

That idea carries through to the individual pieces. While referencing vintage racing uniforms and paddock wear, the styling remains relaxed enough to work away from the track. Key items include the VMC jumpsuit, the corduroy Somer Swing Top jacket, VMC driving gloves, Driver-Folk boots, the Goodyear II Cap, and a pair of T-shirts.

The Monterey connection continues with the Carmel Motors Trophy event at the WMV Visvim Carmel store on 13 August. Rather than taking part in a traditional concours or road event, selected participants will compete on professional-grade driving simulators in qualifying and championship races, followed by a trophy presentation.

The first drop of the 2026 Visvim Motors Club capsule will initially be available at the WMV Visvim Carmel store, followed by Visvim flagship stores in North America and Japan, before arriving at other Visvim stores worldwide from 15 August.
