Restomod Diablo Uncovered
Eccentrica V12 Roadster

Eccentrica has taken its reimagining of the Lamborghini Diablo one step further with the new V12 Roadster. This is the second creation from the San Marino company founded by entrepreneur and Lamborghini collector Emanuel Colombini.

As with its first model, the transformation goes far beyond cosmetic changes, with more than 3,500 bespoke components developed for each vehicle and virtually every system reconstructed from the ground up. Developed with Milan-based design studio Borromeo De Silva, the Roadster retains the unmistakable wedge-shaped profile of the first-series Diablo but introduces wider tracks and subtly recalibrated proportions for a more planted stance.

The exterior is comprehensively reconstructed in carbon fibre over a steel space frame strengthened with additional carbon-fibre reinforcement, preserving the familiar low nose, broad shoulders and dramatic proportions of the original. Removing the roof also required dedicated aerodynamic development around the cabin, intended to maintain stability without diluting the open-air experience.

The re-engineered 5.7-litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 550 hp at 7,000 rpm and 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Revised engine management, thermal control and airflow improve response, with power sent through a close-ratio six-speed gated manual gearbox. Eccentrica quotes 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h.

The chassis has also been extensively reworked, combining redesigned suspension geometry with semi-active dampers, hydraulic steering and Brembo brakes. Pirelli Trofeo R tyres sit on 19-inch wheels, while kerb weight is listed at 1,540 kg.

The cockpit mixes Connolly leather, Alcantara, anodised materials and exposed carbon fibre, with each car individually configured with its owner through a bespoke tailoring process. Just 19 examples of the V12 Roadster will be built.
