In case you haven’t logged in for a while, the latest content update for Need For Speed Payback has already been dropped, including new cars and new game mode Speedcross.

The new cars include the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, Volvo 242DL, Volvo Amazon P130, Plymouth Barracuda, Nissan Skyline Hakosuka GTR and the BMW M3 Evolution II E30. The new cars will appear one by one with the first one being the Mazda RX-7. Once you find it, you will have to escape a police chase to keep it and then purchase it from a dealership. Additionally, all BMWs in the game can now be modified with official BMW M Performance parts.

New single-player game mode, Speedcross, focuses on scoring high points with driving skills, namely Drift Zones, Jumps, Speedtraps and Smackables. This mode comes with two new cars, the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman and the Infiniti Q60 S, while Nissan’s 350Z, Ford’s Focus RS and Dodge’s Charger can also be used in the 16 new events, taking place across four zones. Speedcross is free to owners of the Deluxe Edition while other players can purchase it separately.
