Ready for the 2018 TCR
2018 Peugeot 308 TCR

Peugeot has just announced its new contender for the 2018 TCR season – an upgraded version of the existing Peugeot 308 Cup Racer which launched in 2016, which as the name suggests, is based on the road-legal 308 GTi.

Fhe new 308 TCR receives big upgrades to the chassis, engine, gearbox, and aerodynamics. Power now comes from a turbocharged 1.6-litre gasoline engine, generating 350 horsepower (256 kilowatts) at 6,000 rpm and 420 Newton-meters of torque from 3,000 rpm. Connected to the engine is a new six-speed sequential gearbox, driving the front wheels.

Although the French automobile maker is now accepting pre-orders for the new 308 TCR, which costs €109,000 ($131,256) before taxes, delivery will not take place until April 2018.
