Previewing A Next-Gen EV
Nissan Concept 20-23

Renowned Japanese automaker Nissan has just unveiled the Concept 20-23 as a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Nissan Design Europe studio in London.

This new creation, the Concept 20-23, emerged from the creative minds of the young talents within Nissan’s London team. They were tasked with a simple yet inspiring challenge: design a daily-use car that they would personally enjoy driving through the city. The result is stunning — a compact hatchback that draws inspiration from the world of Formula E and online sim racing. The name “Concept 20-23” beautifully symbolizes both the two-decade legacy of Nissan Design Europe and the current year.

This three-door hatchback boasts an impressively aerodynamic exterior, featuring bold wheel arches, striking bumpers, and pronounced side skirts. A large rear spoiler gracefully extends from the roof rail, not only adding to its aggressive appearance but also contributing to increased downforce without compromising rear visibility. The headlights and taillights — taking the form of upper and lower semi-circle LED beams — create an intriguing contrast with the overall angular design of this electric vehicle concept. The addition of scissor doors further enhances its sporty and dynamic stance.

Moving to the interior, the concept’s cabin is envisioned with sleek deep bucket seats and a futuristic rectangular sports steering wheel, finished in a near-white tone. While it’s worth noting that the Concept 20-23 is not slated for production, it serves as an interesting glimpse into the direction Nissan is steering towards with its upcoming lineup of all-electric vehicles.
