Personal Assist-bot
Gita by Piaggio

Ever wondered what it’s like to have a personal assist-bot that follows you around, carry your stuff and and leaving your hands free? The Piaggio Gita might be the answer.

Developed by Piaggio Fast Forward, a new “startup” under the umbrella of Italian motorcycle manufacturer Piaggio, the Gita is an intelligent and nimble cargo vehicle “designed and engineered with the same attention to safety, braking, balancing, vehicle dynamics and performance that you would expect from a motorcycle or car”. Featuring a central compartment where belongings, packages and valuables can be stored safely, its two wheels per side allow it to follow a user anywhere. The Gita can carry up to 40 pounds and reach a maximum speed of 22 miles per hour, so you can use it while walking your dog, delivering packages, carrying groceries or transporting warehouse goods. The Piaggio Gita will run for about 8 hours on a full battery charge.
