New Companion For Adventure
Canoo American Bulldog LTV

Texas-based EV company Canoo has unveiled the American Bulldog, its latest vehicle developed on its modular, customizable electric platform. Described as a lightweight tactical vehicle (LTV) quad-cab, this four-door pickup truck was derived from Canoo’s Screaming Eagle, a single-cab model that was sent to the U.S. Army for testing.

While the American Bulldog is also intended for the general public rather than just military use, Canoo emphasizes that the LTV “combines striking design with world-class performance while emphasizing minimalism with maximum functionality for work, adventure, and service.” Despite this, it maintains a formidable appearance and the capability to navigate challenging terrains and tasks. Although specifications for the American Bulldog have not been disclosed, we can refer to the details of the Screaming Eagle for guidance: 600 hp of power delivered to all wheels, a payload capacity of 1,800 pounds, and 32-inch wide tires suitable for all types of terrain.

The overall styling goes beyond that of an ordinary off-road pickup. Features such as triple LED headlights, robust steel wheels, custom bumpers, and a modular setup for pickup bed walls with red accents serve both practical and aesthetic purposes. The interior offers ample seating and storage space, featuring a grid design on the doors for hanging additional bags and tools.
